Fresh is an independent production company helmed by four industry veterans with a reputation for making groundbreaking entertainment for international audiences.  

 

Tom McGillis

President/Executive Producer

An Emmy® Award-winning executive producer, series creator and writer of YA entertainment, McGillis is the co-creator of such international hits as the Total Drama franchise, My Babysitter’s a Vampire and 6teen. As President of Fresh TV, McGillis is at the helm of the company’s expansion into prime time and is responsible for leading the Fresh development team in its collaboration with American and Canadian networks and talent.

 

Brian Irving

Chief Financial Officer/Executive Producer

In addition to being the business mind behind Fresh TV, Irving produces of all Fresh’s live action properties, in the US, Canada and around the world. A producer, screenwriter and former journalist, Irving’s executive producer credits include the Total Drama franchise, My Babysitter's A Vampire, Really Me, 6teen and, most recently, the live action YA drama, Backstage.

 

 

Jennifer Pertsch

VP, Creative Affairs/Executive Producer

An Emmy® Award-winning executive producer, writer and series creator of YA entertainment, Pertsch is the co-creator of such smash hits as the Total Drama franchise, My Babysitter’s a Vampire, Backstage and 6teen.  As Head of Creative Affairs, Pertsch is responsible for spearheading creative development, taking shows from early option to screen, handpicking talent, and empowering creative excellence.

 

 

George Elliott

Executive Producer

In addition to being an Executive Producer on such live action and animated hits as Bunks, My Babysitter’s a Vampire, Really Me! and the Total Drama franchise, Elliott is an artist, animator, award-winning director, children’s author, and president/creative head of Elliott Animation Inc., a world class animation and special FX studio which became Fresh TV’s formal production partner in 2007.
