Fresh is an independent, IP-driven family entertainment company that has spent the past 20 years winning over the toughest audiences on the planet. Today, that same instinct for hooking audiences, often in ways they never saw coming, is taking Fresh into games, social and digital platforms, and consumer products.

Founded in Toronto in 2004, Fresh is still owned and run by the four people who started it.

Tom McGillis

President/Executive Producer

Tom co-created Total Drama Island and My Babysitter's a Vampire. An Emmy® Award-winning writer and producer, he leads the company's push into games and new platforms. As President he sets Fresh's creative and business direction, and is still the person kids email when their favourite character gets eliminated.

Brian Irving

Chief Financial Officer/Executive Producer

Brian runs the financial and business side of Fresh, including the deals and structures behind Total Drama's expansion into gaming, community and consumer products. His production credits include My Babysitter's a Vampire, Really Me, and Backstage, and he came to the business side by way of journalism and screenwriting.

Jennifer Pertsch

VP, Creative Affairs/Executive Producer

Jennifer oversees creative development across everything Fresh makes. An Emmy® Award-winning writer and producer, she co-created Total Drama Island and My Babysitter's a Vampire, and built the characters that audiences have spent two decades arguing over, dressing as, and writing their own endings for.

George Elliott

Executive Producer

George is an executive producer, artist, animator and award-winning director, and leads Elliott Animation Inc., Fresh's production partner since 2007. His credits include Total Drama, My Babysitter's a Vampire, Really Me and Bunks.
