FRESH TV INC. ACQUIRES EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO YOUTUBE SENSATION LUCAS THE SPIDER
Toronto, March 21, 2018 – Fresh TV Inc., a world leader in producing live action and animated programming, announced today that it has joined forces with animator Joshua Slice and acquired exclusive rights to the internet phenomenon Lucas the Spider. The company’s plans include expanding Lucas the Spider adventures into ongoing series and feature length projects.
Created by Slice in 2017, Lucas the Spider is a series of animated shorts that follow an adorable little spider named Lucas as he navigates the world around him. Inspired by a jumping spider nestled within a leaf and voiced by Slice’s nephew, also named Lucas, the animated arachnid has become a viral internet sensation. Lucas The Spider’s animated adventures have amassed over 60 million views and 1.5 million subscribers on the YouTube Channel.
